Life and daily responsibilities steps in and bumps our creative time to the..."I'll have to do that later" list. Why is that?
It's because, to be creative takes energy....and if not scheduled or planned, our energy is taken by all the other things on the to-do list.
I heard an artist once say that, "Creativity is more than 'making a picture.'" Your art begins with a concept...an idea that takes creative energy.
I know how hard it can be to come up with a mental picture of what you want to make.
Each monthly project that I offer to the members of MY ART SISTERS is more than "making a picture". Each one has the potential to become the fuel...the spring board...to feeding their own creative energy.
No ones finished work is ever the same. Yes, it may be the same subject...but each piece is so beautifully unique to the lady that created it.
