Today is August 8th and I relaze that It has been 23 years since our eldest daughter, at the age of 17, returned to her home in heaven.
I don’t usually mark her birthday in a special way, but this year I felt moved to paint her a card.

When I sat down, I had no idea what I would paint—and that didn’t really matter.
What mattered was the pause in my busy day to reflect, remember, and feel gratitude for her life.
